Lomography announces first 100% Analogue Instant Camera with Film Instax Square

agosto 20, 2017

Lomography has achieved it once again: taking advantage of Fujifilm's immobility in the field of the square film, they have gone one step further and have decided to release their own model of instant camera with the film Instax Square, a camera that will, for the first time Instead, shoot analogue with a film cheaper than The Impossible Project, with its prohibitive price.

The camera, which has so far been announced - as Lomography is accustomed - through a Kickstarter campaign, would arrive at our homes in the first quarter of 2018, that is, in about half a year. The starting price seems to be around $ 200, since donating $ 150 to the crowdfounding campaign would allow you to get it with a 35% discount on the final price.

Again Lomography surprises with a bellows design seen, with a very vintage look and a really traditional aesthetic photography, reminiscent of the mythical large format cameras.

Digital illustration of how the lens is prepared to take a photo.
The photograph will continue to be executed from above.
The exposure meter will be of minimalist design and will be indicated with lights.
The photographs obtained have an appearance between the typical Polaroid and the typical Instax, with much saturation but turning to the warm tone.
Technical specifications: Again Lomography outdists itself by launching a camera with a glass lens, much brighter than the plastic ones normally used in this type of cameras, built-in remote control, button cells and self-portrait mode for selfies with Countdown, plus other very remarkable technical conditions:

This is the first 100% analog camera that operates with the square film Instax Square, after the launch of the Fujifilm SQ10 that disappointed the analog community because it is a lousy digital camera "tied" to a film printer.

Fujifilm continues with a project that little is known, consisting of taking a 100% analog camera called Instax SQ (without the 10 of its digital sister), of which we only have a filtered photo and of which we do not know lauch date, or launch price.
